  • No tie downs.
  • No rubber, elk hide, or similarly grabby material on the saddle horn.
  • No mechanical hackamores or martingales or gimmicks of any kind.

 

  • Bits must be of a traditional design with a traditional western bridle. Ringed snaffle bits can be used with mecate or split reins.
  • Hackamores must be braided rawhide or leather and have a natural core. Mecates must be used with the hacka more.
  • Horns must be wrapped in mule hide or latigo.
  • No foul language
  • No gaudy line dancer shirts, t-shirts, or knit long sleeve t-shirts, etc.
  • No printed pictures or words or advertising of any kind may be worn in the arena.
  • No whiners or sniveling of any kind.

 

  • Traditional cowboy attire: long sleeved shirt, long pants, cowboys hat, chaps, boots, etc.
  • No livestock shall be choked down.
  • No livestock shall be dragged by the neck while lying on the ground.
  • All livestock shall be treated in a humane manner at all times.
  • All livestock shall be in good health; no sick or injured livestock will be used on competition.
